Early life
His parents are Henry and Lisa Garcia and he was born in Victorville, California, U.S., on August 8, 1998. The boxer Sergio Garcia is also his uncle. His father Henry was a professional boxer who wanted to compete in the ring, but like his uncle Sergio, ended up as a trainer. As his personal administrator, Lisa handles business projects as Ryan’s mother.

During his childhood, Ryan had four siblings; three younger sisters and one younger brother. When he was 7 years old, Lawrence The Dawg King and his brother Sean started boxing together. He became a 15th time national amateur boxing champion during his successful amateur career. His amateur boxing record was 215-15.
Career
On June 9, 2016, Ryan started his career as a professional boxer. It was against Edgar Meza that he won his first match. Ryan signed a contract with Golden Boy Promotions in November 2016. After competing in just one lightweight match, he became a knockout winner in the second round on December 17, 2016.
Golden Boy Promotions didn’t want to lose such a strong player to Golden Boy Promotions, since he wasn’t in the mood to spare his opponent. So in September 2019, Golden Boy Promotions extended his contract for five years. With his next opponent, Romero Duno, Ryan continued his excellent form. The “WBC Silver Lightweight” title was won by knocking out Duno in the first round.
Next on Ryan’s agenda was Francisco Fonseca, with whom he fought on February 14, 2020. Ryan performed admirably in the match. The boxing match ended in a knockout in the first round, as with his earlier matches.
